The Role of Technology in Learning
I just did a quick search on YouTube - here is a slice view through the lens of 5 videos that came top in the search 'technology in education'. They are the voices of students, academics, large corporates and governments.
1. "Share our vision and be inspired by the possibilities of how technology could be used in K-12 education in the coming years. Microsoft technologies can help deliver a seamless flow between lifestyle and learning and new ways to connect and collaborate. Some of what is shown is already possible. For more information on the underlying products and our ideas for using technology in K-12 education, contact Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/education"
2. "This video explores the educational use of immersive environments and provides case studies from Second LIfe, Quest Atlantis and World of Warcraft. Includes interviews with educators and a student. Produced for Education.au's Immersive Learning Unit."
3. "This is my philosophy of education, speaking specifically to how it relates to technology. I hope you can find some useful information and thoughts here. I have also made a couple other YouTube videos to practice and learn about things I can do with technology. It's fun."
4. "ICT in EDUCATION 2009 Interviews. Nearly 500 educators from across Qatar attended the conference, which featured lectures and workshops with leading international experts in the field of ICT (information and communication technology) in education."
